Take Action for Montana’s Wolves
As Montana moves to deregulate wolf killings, we must act now! Wolves could be killed all year round without any limits (wolf pups and mothers are often targeted in their dens without regulations). Please take the following steps to make a difference for Montana’s voice and use your voice before its too late!
1. Montana residents – Contact your state reps and demand they reject these wolf-killing bills. Contact Paul Fielder and urge him to stop this senseless slaughter. You can copy and paste this message to make your voice heard:
Subject: Protect Montana’s Wolves – Amend HB258
Dear Representative Fielder, I urge you to reconsider HB258 and the devastating impact it will have on Montana’s wolves. This bill not only threatens a keystone species but also risks harming Montana’s tourism industry, which thrives on its natural beauty and wildlife. Please consider a world where compassion and coexistence guide our policies. Wolves are essential to our nation’s ecosystems and are a symbol of wildlife and wildness. We can find solutions that allow both people and wolves to thrive. I ask you to stop this unnecessary slaughter and work toward a future where Montana is known for its harmony with nature, not its destruction of it. Sincerely,

[Your City, State]
We are at a pivotal moment. With continued pressure, we can push for protections that honor the role wolves play in our environment and our heritage. Let’s not stop now—let’s fight for a world with more compassion. Stand up for wolves and send your message today!
2. Non-Residents – Hit them where it hurts: Tourism! Let the Montana Department of Tourism know you won’t support a state that slaughters its wildlife. Message them @ www.visitmt.com/contact.
Dear Montana Tourism & Wolf Killing Bills Dear Montana Department of Tourism,
I have always admired the beauty and wild spirit of Montana, but I cannot, in good conscience, support a state that allows the brutal slaughter of its wolves. The expanded wolf hunts, extended trapping seasons, and cruel killing methods being pushed by your legislature are not wildlife management—they are politically driven extermination tactics that ignore both science and ethics. Montana’s wolves are a vital part of the ecosystem and a major draw for ecotourism, bringing visitors from around the world who want to experience the state’s breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife.
If Montana continues down this path of mass wolf killing, I—and thousands of others—will take our tourism dollars elsewhere. We will actively encourage others to boycott visiting Montana until these wolf-killing bills are overturned. I urge you to stop these attacks on wolves and focus on real, science-based conservation efforts. Protect what makes Montana special before it’s too late!
Sincerely,
