“Wolves and women are relational by nature.”
— Dr. Clarissa Estes
Women For Wolves
Sanctuary. Conservation. Empowerment.
Where Jaws and Paws has been dedicated to sanctuary, rescue, and conservation, Women for Wolves will not only continue these vital efforts but also broaden our mission.
We are expanding to include programs that focus on women’s wellness, education for future generations, and the protection of California’s wolves.
Our new structure will center around three key pillars: Conservation & Education, Sanctuary & Rescue, and Women & Wellness. Through these initiatives, we aim to make a meaningful impact in our community by offering:
Grants and scholarships for women and youth,
Therapy and wellness programs for women in need, and
Collaborations with a wolf conservation organization every two years.
This year, we are proud to partner with UC Berkeley’s California Wolf Project to safeguard California’s wolves. As part of this partnership, we will deliver an educational curriculum to schools, camps, and youth groups, inspiring future generations to protect and appreciate wildlife.
Women for Wolves bridges the gap between humans and nature, fostering a deeper connection to protect both our planet and its wolves—while also nurturing healing within ourselves.
