Women for Wolves was established to bring women together to advocate for wolves and wildlife while promoting more ethical and coexistence-centered approaches to conservation.
The organization began in Northern California as a grassroots advocacy and rescue nonprofit focused on wolves, wolf-dogs, and endangered predators. Through rescue, sanctuary, and education, Women for Wolves worked to challenge fear-based perceptions of predators while inspiring the next generation of conservation advocates.
Today, Women for Wolves is a women-led conservation organization focused on wolf protection through conservation, coexistence education, women's empowerment, and Indigenous partnerships throughout California and beyond. We work toward a future where wildlife and people thrive together.
